Next 13th October in the Port of Bari, at Terminal “Crociere”, it will take place the first PRESS CONFERENCE, Steering Committee & Research and Expert meeting of the Project “ISACC Innovative Systems to enhance Antifraud Customs Controls”.
After the period of limitations in public events related to covid 19, now finally the project is excited to create an event in presence with all project partners and associated partners. The intense day of work will open with the press conference by Silvio Busico - president of ITS Logistica Puglia (Lead Partner), Angelo Corallo - professor at the University of Salento (Scientific Coordinator) and Aurora Maria Losacco, project officer of ITALME Program.
After the institutional greetings, the meetings between the partners will start, Steering Committee Meeting - Research and Expert meeting, in which the latest developments of the project will be deepened. It will be an opportunity to take stock of the development of the project, which has reached the final stage of implementation, and to address the latest technicalities in order to achieve the full operability of the project actions. The most relevant result of the event will be the signing and final version of the Declaration of Interest, as the last final step of a path aimed at the strengthen the network of stakeholders around the project and at the creation of an institutional agreement that brings together the objectives and methodologies of the nations involved. Among the actions as core action, the partners will also take care of the full interoperability of the IT platform for the collection, management and comparison of data from the three national customs agencies of Italy, Albania and Montenegro. The platform, already functioning, is in the finalization phase through the implementation of the latest functionalities and the graphic interface.
Another topic to face during the technical meeting is the full operativity of the ISACC pilot project, to be activated in the places selected for the measurability of the actions. The work will concern the set-up of the pilot infrastructures in the selected sites and a discussion about the delivery of the pilot and the prevention of potential issues.
The meeting will also be an opportunity to deepen the capacity building work, through the recap on webinars revised programs, the webinars release, the interpreting services, the creation of tools and finally the promotional campaigns for the involvement of operators.
